Full-Time Teaching Assistant – Primary School (Ealing)
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Ealing. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The successful candidate will provide valuable support to both teachers and pupils, helping to create an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
- Provide one-to-one and small group support, particularly for pupils who require additional help with their learning.
- Assist children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), adapting resources and activities to meet their individual needs.
- Help maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment.
- Prepare learning materials and classroom resources as needed.
- Supervise and support pupils during break and lunchtimes.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to support pupil development.
- Follow the school’s safeguarding policies and procedures at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children in a school or childcare setting is essential.
- Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable.
- A valid DBS check is required, or willingness to obtain one before starting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
- A patient, proactive, and caring approach to working with children.
