Job Title: Early Years Practitioner
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, 8am-5pm
Location: Camden
Salary: £28,000-£32,000 Depending on Experience
Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join an inclusive and diverse team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role and possess a genuine interest in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Responsibilities
- Create a safe, nurturing and inclusive environment for children in the early years age group.
- Plan and implement activities that promote learning and development while catering to diverse needs, including those with SEN.
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and colleagues to ensure the holistic well-being of the children.
- Support and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to enhance children's learning and development.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in an early years setting, with a strong understanding of child development.
- Knowledge and experience in supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
- A relevant qualification such as an Early Years Educator (Level 3) or equivalent is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse and inclusive environment.
Day-to-day
- Engage with children through play, structured activities, and routines that foster their emotional, social, and cognitive development.
- Effectively observe and assess children's progress, and use this information to inform planning and interactions.
- Provide a supportive and caring environment where every child feels valued, included, and has the opportunity to thrive.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the delivery of high-quality care and education that meets the individual needs of all children.
