Job Title: Part-Time Teaching Assistant (Year 2)
Location: Edgware
Hours: Part-time (Monday and Friday, 13 hours p/w)We are working with a school in Edgware is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join our Year 2 class. This role involves working closely with a child with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), alongside general classroom support responsibilities.
About the Role:
- Supporting a child with ASD: Providing one-on-one assistance to help the child engage fully in the learning environment.
- General TA Duties: Assisting the Year 2 teacher with classroom activities, small group work, and maintaining a supportive, organized learning space.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) is a plus, but not essential.
- A patient, positive, and proactive approach to working with young learners.
- A strong commitment to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom experience for all students.
