Position: Early Years Practitioner (Nursery & Reception)
Contract: Full-time, Immediate StartAbout the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Years Practitioner to join our primary school in Brent, working across both our nursery and reception classes. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in nurturing and developing the youngest learners in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Support Early Learning: Engage children in age-appropriate activities that stimulate their development in key areas, including social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
- Assist with Personal Care: Provide support for children’s personal care needs with sensitivity and respect, ensuring children feel safe and comfortable.
- Work with SEN: Offer tailored support for children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), creating an inclusive atmosphere that fosters growth and confidence.
- Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, teaching assistants, and other early years staff to plan and deliver engaging learning experiences.
- Ensure Safety and Well-being: Promote a positive, safe, and nurturing environment for every child.
About You:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual who is passionate about working with young children. While no formal qualifications are required, previous experience with early years children or in a school setting is beneficial.
Essential Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS Check: You must hold an enhanced DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
- Passionate and Patient: A genuine love for working with young children, with a patient and understanding approach.
- Adaptable and Team-Oriented: Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of the classroom and willingness to work as part of a close-knit team.
