We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapy Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and inclusive primary school in Ealing.

The Role
As a Speech and Language Therapy Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Work closely with the class teachers, SENCO, and external speech and language therapists to implement tailored support plans for pupils with SLCN.
- Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions to enhance pupils’ communication and language skills.
- Support pupils in the classroom to access the curriculum effectively, adapting resources as needed.
- Monitor and record pupil progress, providing feedback to the SENCO and therapists.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to create a cohesive support network.
What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working with children, particularly in a school or therapy setting.
- An interest in or knowledge of speech and language development (formal qualifications are desirable but not essential).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.
- A proactive and flexible approach to supporting pupils and teachers in a dynamic school environment.
- A valid DBS certificate (required).
