Position: Part-Time Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
Location: Watford
Hours: 3 days a week, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
Contract: Part-TimeAre you a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking to make a positive impact in a vibrant primary school? We are seeking a dedicated HLTA to join our team and provide valuable support to our pupils and teaching staff.
About the Role
As a HLTA, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth delivery of high-quality education. Your responsibilities will include:
- Class Covering: Leading lessons in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring continuity of learning.
- Pupil Support: Working with groups and individuals to support learning and development.
- Collaboration: Assisting class teachers with planning and delivering creative, engaging lessons.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- Experience: Proven experience working as a HLTA in a primary school setting.
- Qualifications: HLTA status or equivalent experience.
- DBS Clearance: An up-to-date Enhanced DBS check.
- Skills: Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to different classroom environments.
