Location: Independent Nursery, WestminsterAre you passionate about working with young children and nurturing their growth and development in a warm and supportive environment? Our lovely independent nursery in Westminster is looking for a Level 2/3 Qualified Nursery Assistant to join our dedicated team.
About Us
We are working with a well-established nursery with fantastic facilities designed to inspire creativity, learning, and play. Caring for children aged 0–5, we pride ourselves on providing a nurturing, safe, and stimulating environment where every child can thrive.
Role Details
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM (1-hour lunch break)
- Age Group: Children aged 0–5 years
- Salary: £12 - £15 per hour dependent on experience
- Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities
- Providing high-quality care and education tailored to individual needs.
- Engaging children in stimulating and age-appropriate activities.
- Supporting children's personal care needs, including feeding, diaper changes, and hygiene.
- Ensuring a safe, clean, and inclusive environment.
- Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
- Monitoring and recording children's progress to share with families.
What We’re Looking For
- Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Early Years Education or equivalent (essential).
- Genuine passion for working with young children.
- Experience in personal care and supporting children's development.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and health & safety in a nursery setting.
