Job Title: Reception Teaching Assistant
Location: Brent
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
Start Date: ASAPWe are looking for a dedicated Reception Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Brent. This is a full-time position, ideal for someone passionate about working with young children and supporting those with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Whole-Class Support: Assist the Reception teacher with activities, classroom organization, and general support.
- Individual SEN Support: Work closely with particular children who have SEN needs, providing focused assistance and encouragement.
- Personal Care: Assist with personal care tasks, ensuring that children feel safe, supported, and respected.
- Creating an Inclusive Environment: Help create a nurturing and inclusive classroom where every child can thrive.
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children, ideally in an early years or SEN setting.
- Comfortable with providing personal care as part of the role.
- A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with teachers, staff, and children.
