Job Type: Full time, 8am-5pm

We are seeking a dedicated Caretaker to join our team and help maintain a safe and clean environment of a Primary School facilities. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in caretaking positions and a strong commitment to promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the facilities
• Monitor and address any safety hazards or maintenance issues promptly
• Manage the storage and inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
• Assist in setting up and taking down equipment for events and activities
• Work collaboratively with other staff members to support facility operations

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caretaking or a similar role
• Strong ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to promoting an inclusive and diverse environment
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Day-to-day

• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
• Dusting and cleaning surfaces
• Emptying trash and recycling bins
• Monitoring and maintaining equipment and supplies
• Following health and safety protocols
