Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Caretaker to join our team. The Caretaker will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the premises. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent DIY skills, and the ability to handle a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspections of the premises to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
• Conduct minor repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, such as plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work
• Assist with landscaping and grounds keeping duties
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and maintenance equipment
• Respond promptly to any maintenance emergencies
• Coordinate and oversee any contracted services, such as waste removal or pest control
• Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a caretaker or maintenance position
• Strong DIY skills and the ability to handle minor repairs
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good physical condition and stamina

Day-to-day

• Inspect and clean designated areas
• Perform routine maintenance tasks
• Respond to maintenance requests and emergencies
• Coordinate and oversee contracted services
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities
• Assist with landscaping and grounds keeping duties
