Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow, London
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and inclusive team in Hounslow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with special educational needs.
  • Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
  • Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
  • Encourage and promote independence and self-confidence in pupils.
  • Support students with social and emotional needs.
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience with SEN students is highly desirable, but not essential.
  • A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
  • DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
