Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Hounslow, London
Contract Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM)
Salary: Competitive, based on experienceAre you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) and making a real difference in their learning journey? We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic and inclusive team in Hounslow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or small group support for students with special educational needs.
- Assist the class teacher in creating an engaging and supportive learning environment.
- Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) and monitor progress.
- Encourage and promote independence and self-confidence in pupils.
- Support students with social and emotional needs.
- Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive classroom atmosphere.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience with SEN students is highly desirable, but not essential.
- A caring, patient, and empathetic approach to working with children.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
- DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
