Start Date: After Easter 2025
Contract: Full-Time, Term Time Only
Salary: £100 - £110 per dayThe Opportunity:
A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Barnet is seeking a full-time Teaching Assistant to join the team after the Easter break. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is keen to make a positive impact on their learning and development.As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting classroom activities, helping pupils to stay engaged, and providing additional support where needed—including working with pupils with special educational needs.
Your Role Will Include:
Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
Working one-to-one or with small groups of pupils
Assisting in the preparation of learning resources and activities
Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils’ emotional and social development
We’re Looking for Someone Who:
Has experience working with children in a primary school or similar setting
Is patient, caring and committed to supporting all learners
Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
Works well as part of a team and uses initiative when needed
Holds a relevant qualification (e.g. Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning), though this is not essential
