Job Title: SEN Teacher
Job Type: Full Time - 8:30am -3:30pm
Location: Barking and Dagenham
Salary: £150 - £200 Per Day *Based on Experience
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher to join a team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with primary and secondary students with special educational needs and will be committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students. You will be apart of a inclusive team who strives for excellence.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement tailored learning plans for students with special educational needs
- Provide one-on-one support and guidance to students to help them achieve their academic and personal development goals
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and support staff to create individualized education programs (IEPs) for each student
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes diversity, equality, and inclusion
- Keep detailed records of student progress and regularly communicate with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student performance
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience working with students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of different learning styles and ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of educators, support staff, and parents
Day-to-day
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that are tailored to meet the individual needs of your students. You will work closely with teaching assistants and support staff to ensure that all students receive the personalized support they require to succeed. In addition to teaching, you will regularly communicate with parents, guardians, and other educational professionals to provide updates on student progress and collaborate on support strategies.
