Job Title: SEN Teacher
Job Type: Temp to Perm- Full Time, 8am-4pm
Location: Sutton
Salary: £150 - £200 Per day *Depending on experience
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN teacher to join a diverse Primary School. As an SEN teacher, you will play a vital role in supporting and promoting the learning and development of students with special needs. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children with SEN needs and is dedicated to developing children's social and academic progress.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement tailored lessons to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs
- Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment for all students
- Collaborate with teaching assistants, parents, and external professionals to provide holistic support for students
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to facilitate the learning of students with diverse needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, and modify teaching strategies as required
- Promote positive behaviour management and support the emotional well-being of students
Qualifications
- A valid teaching qualification and relevant SEN experience
- Proven track record of working effectively with students with special educational needs
- Strong understanding of the diverse needs of learners and different strategies to support them
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt teaching techniques to suit the individual needs of students
Day-to-day
As an SEN teacher, you will work closely with students, their families, and a multidisciplinary team of professionals to provide specialized education and support. Your day-to-day tasks will include planning and delivering tailored lessons, conducting assessments, and providing feedback and support to students.
