Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with QTS qualification to join a supportive team with a passion for working with children with SEN Needs. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in providing specialised education to students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special needs
- Provide support and guidance to students to help them achieve their learning goals
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to create a supportive learning environment
- Utilize various teaching strategies and resources to accommodate different learning styles
- Monitor and assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Qualifications:
- QTS qualified
- Proven experience as a SEN Teacher
- In-depth understanding of special education needs and best practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to diverse learning environments
Day-to-day:
As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons, providing one-on-one support to students, and maintaining regular communication with parents and support staff. You will also participate in individualised education plan (IEP) meetings and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
