Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher with a strong background in teaching SEN students across Primary and Secondary schools. The successful candidate will have QTS and a passion for making a positive impact on the lives of SEN students.
SEN Teacher Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized education plans for SEN students
- Provide differentiated instruction to meet the diverse needs of SEN students
- Collaborate with other educators and support staff to create a supportive learning environment
- Monitor and assess student progress, and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and support needs
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Proven experience teaching SEN students across Primary and Secondary schools
- Strong understanding of SEN strategies and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Day-to-day
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, providing one-on-one support to SEN students, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.
