About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic teacher to take responsibility for a Year 2 class, delivering the national curriculum while nurturing each child’s personal and academic growth.

Key Details:

• Position: Year 2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover)
• Location: Ealing (Nearest station: Ealing Broadway)
• Duration: Until the end of the academic year (Maternity Cover)
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:00 pm
• Duties:
  • Planning and delivering engaging lessons that align with the curriculum.
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress to ensure they meet their learning objectives.
  • Managing classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment.
  • Marking and providing constructive feedback to pupils to support their development.
  • Liaising with colleagues, parents, and leadership to ensure pupil success.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a committed and motivated teacher with the following qualifications and skills:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) (Essential).
• An up-to-date DBS check (Essential).
• A strong understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate pupils.
• A proactive and positive attitude with a commitment to contributing to the school’s community.
