Location: Camden, London
Salary: £28,000- £32,000 *Depending on experience
Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a positive team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development and creating a safe and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
- Provide personal care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
- Observe and assess children's progress, and maintain accurate records of their development
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
- Contribute to creating a stimulating and attractive learning environment for children
Qualifications
- Experience working with nursery or reception age children is necessary
- Level 2/Level 3 childcare qualification is ideal
- Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development
Day-to-day
- Engage in activities that support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
- Communicate with parents about their child's progress and well-being
- Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement daily activities and routines
- Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in your care
- Maintain a clean and organized learning environment
