Location: Camden, London

Salary: £28,000- £32,000 *Depending on experience

Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join a positive team. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and education to young children, supporting their development and creating a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate activities to support children's learning and development
  • Provide personal care and support to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment
  • Observe and assess children's progress, and maintain accurate records of their development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Contribute to creating a stimulating and attractive learning environment for children

Qualifications

  • Experience working with nursery or reception age children is necessary
  • Level 2/Level 3 childcare qualification is ideal
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A passion for working with young children and supporting their growth and development

Day-to-day

  • Engage in activities that support children's physical, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Communicate with parents about their child's progress and well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement daily activities and routines
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of all children in your care
  • Maintain a clean and organized learning environment
