Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated SEN (Special Educational Needs) Teacher to join a supportive SEN team. The ideal candidate will have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a strong background in teaching students with various special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, and Global Delay.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individual education plans for students with SEN
- Provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with parents, carers, and other professionals to support student progress
- Use creative and innovative teaching strategies to engage students with diverse learning needs
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
- Proven experience teaching students with special educational needs
- In-depth knowledge of Autism, ADHD, and Global Delay
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
Day-to-day
As an SEN Teacher, you will work closely with students, parents, and other professionals to create a tailored learning experience that meets the diverse needs of students with special educational needs.
