Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Year 5 Teacher to join a collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and a commitment to creating an inclusive and engaging learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that are in line with the national curriculum
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and support as needed
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and respect
• Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support student development and well-being
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and school events

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learners

Day-to-day

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that support the academic and personal development of your students. You will work closely with colleagues and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment, while also monitoring and assessing student progress to ensure their ongoing success.
