Job Type: Full time - 8am-4pm

Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Educational Needs Teacher with strong experience teaching SEN students to join our inclusive and diverse team. The chosen candidate will work with students with a range of special educational needs and will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver engaging and differentiated lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students with special educational needs.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and resources to support students with diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with other educators, support staff, and parents to create individual education plans (IEPs) and ensure student progress.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the social, emotional, and academic development of students.

Qualifications

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
• Experience working with students with special educational needs is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of inclusive and diverse teaching practices.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Day-to-day

• Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with special educational needs.
• Collaborate with support staff to ensure a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress and well-being.
