Salary: £140 - £200 a day

The Role: Maths Teacher – Haringey

As a Maths Teacher, you will play a crucial role in preparing students for their GCSE maths exams, supporting them to achieve grades above their ability where possible. You will plan and deliver outstanding lessons to young minds, aiding academic success and adapting lessons when required to meet the needs of each student.

You will work with students ranging in ability, focusing to improve problem solving and mathematical ability throughout the year, ensuring progress is recorded, tracked and improved.

As a Maths Teacher will be expected to:

• Deliver clear, well-structured lessons that meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Plan and adapt schemes of work and resources in line with curriculum requirements.
• Monitor and assess student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and support.
• Encourage a growth mindset and inspire students to achieve their full potential.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities, clubs, and trips.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practices and support continuous improvement.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress

Qualifications and requirements – Maths Teacher – Haringey

• QTS
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Strong written and communication skills
• Strong ICT knowledge
