Location: Ealing/Northolt, London
Salary: £200 - £215 per day

Working Hours: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Music Teacher to join a vibrant and inclusive mainstream secondary school in the Ealing/Northolt area. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to inspire students across various year groups, fostering a love for music and creativity.
As a key member of the Performing Arts department, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and well-structured lessons that cater to students of different abilities. You should be comfortable teaching a broad music curriculum, incorporating both practical and theoretical elements.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality music lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and possibly Key Stage 5).
- Engage students with a range of musical genres, instruments, and digital music technology.
- Prepare students for assessments, performances, and extracurricular activities.
- Mark and assess students' work, providing constructive feedback to support progress.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including school concerts, clubs, and events.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching music in a secondary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the UK music curriculum.
- Ability to teach a variety of musical instruments and integrate music technology into lessons.
- Excellent classroom management skills.
- A positive and proactive attitude, with a passion for student success.
Working Pattern
- 3 days per week (specific days to be discussed).
- Standard school hours (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM).
