Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

Job Type: Full Time, 8;30am-4pm, ASAP Start

Location: Hackney

Salary: £90 -£100 a day *Depending on Experience

Overview

We are calling experienced SEN Teaching Assistants who are devoted to supporting children with an SEN Need. The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN needs in a similar role and will be passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of our students. You will be working with children with Autism, Global Delay Traits and Challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assistance to students with special educational needs
• Collaborate with teachers and parents to create individualised learning plans
• Monitor and track student progress and provide regular updates to the team
• Create a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with SEN needs in a similar role
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations
• Relevant qualifications in special education or related field

Day-to-day

• Working closely with students to provide one-on-one support
• Collaborating with teachers and support staff to implement individualized learning plans
• Communicating regularly with parents and caregivers to provide updates on student progress
• Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
