Overview
We are seeking an engaging and dynamic individual with a strong SEN knowledge and a passion for working with children to join team of hardworking Teaching Assistants. As a Teaching Assistant, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children with special educational needs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualised education plans for students with special educational needs
- Provide support and guidance to classroom teachers and support staff
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of special educational needs and relevant teaching strategies
- Enthusiastic and passionate about working with children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Relevant qualifications and experience in special education
Day-to-day
- Working closely with students, teachers, and parents to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment
- Using your expertise to tailor learning experiences to meet the individual needs of students
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices and support each other in achieving our goals
