Position: School Administrator (Special Educational Needs School)
Start Date: January 2025
Employment Type: Contract, (30 hours per week)Are you an experienced School Administrator with a passion for supporting the learning and development of children with special educational needs (SEN)? We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our SEN school in West Ealing.

The Role
As a School Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school. Working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies, you will provide essential administrative support to the Headteacher and leadership team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office Administration:
- Answering phone calls, emails, and in-person queries in a professional manner.
- Managing the school diary and scheduling meetings.
- Maintaining accurate student and staff records using the school’s management information system (MIS).
- Admissions and Attendance:
- Handling the admissions process, including enquiries, applications, and record-keeping.
- Monitoring and reporting on student attendance.
- Financial Administration:
- Assisting with school finances, including processing invoices and managing petty cash.
- Supporting budget monitoring and reporting.
- SEN Support Coordination:
- Liaising with external agencies, therapists, and local authorities regarding SEN provisions.
- General Duties:
- Ensuring compliance with safeguarding and data protection policies.
- Assisting with event organization, such as parents’ evenings and school trips.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a similar school administration role is essential.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using school management systems such as SIMS, Bromcom, Arbor, as well as standard office software.
- Familiarity with SEN procedures and terminology is highly desirable.
- A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a flexible approach to work.
