Overview
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Social Science Teacher to join a fantastic team of experienced Teachers in Wandsworth. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Psychology, Sociology, and Health and Social Care at GCSE and A-levels, along with a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and inclusive lessons in Psychology, Sociology, and Health and Social Care.
- Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and are encouraged to participate.
- Monitor and assess students' progress to ensure they are meeting educational objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive and diverse curriculum that reflects the experiences and backgrounds of all students.
- Provide individualized support to students who may require additional assistance.
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Previous experience in teaching Psychology, Sociology, and Health and Social Care at GCSE and A-levels.
- Strong understanding of inclusive teaching practices and diversity in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Day-to-day
- Planning and conducting lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students.
- Providing feedback and support to students to help them reach their full potential.
- Collaborating with other educators to create an inclusive and diverse curriculum.
