Job Type: Full time, 8:15am-4pm

We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic Reception Teacher to join a collaborative team in Newham and contribute to the early years education. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of early years education and be enthusiastic about creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement creative and engaging lesson plans that adhere to the early years curriculum
• Establish a safe and inclusive environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students
• Foster positive and strong relationships with students, parents, and fellow educators
• Evaluate and monitor student progress, offering regular feedback to facilitate their growth
• Collaborate with other teachers to exchange best practices and enhance the overall success of the school community

Qualifications

• Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience in teaching within early years education is preferred
• A solid grasp of child development and the early years curriculum
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
• Capacity to create a supportive and inclusive learning setting
• Dedication to advocating diversity, equality, and inclusion within the classroom

Day-to-Day

• Developing and delivering inclusive and engaging lessons
• Cooperating with colleagues to aid the development of the early years curriculum
• Establishing positive connections with students and parents
• Evaluating student progress and delivering meaningful feedback
• Forming a supportive and nurturing learning ambiance for all students
